Available Position: Commercial Account Manager (Req Id 42333) 


Job Summary:

  • Research and develop local and national commercial business contacts
  • Establish, grow and maintain a book of commercial business  
  • Introduce and promote Burnet Title’s products and services
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, from order to closing, as well as future follow-up
  • Achieve personal sales and profit targets, according to sales plan
  • Report business development and sales activity as required by Sales Manager
  • Participation in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks
  • Act as an independent self-starter, highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Provide a positive company image to the public
  • Some travel is required, to visit client/business locations


Role-Specific Knowledge:

  • Commercial real estate products and services, business plans, customer requirements, and market demands
  • Persuasive selling skills sufficient to influence customers and create sales opportunities
  • Techniques needed to achieve personal sales and profit targets, according to sales plan created by Sales Manager
  • Open communication between sales, title and escrow to maintain mutually beneficial, productive internal relationships
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office sufficient to create presentations, manage spreadsheets and create bid documents.



  • Education – High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.  College degree preferred.
  • Skills – Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook), Strong communication skills (including telephone etiquette and presentation skills), Must be well organized and detail oriented. iClosings Direct experience preferred. Ability to bend/squat and reach on occasion. Able to lift items up to approximately 15 pounds.
  • Work Experience – Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Commercial area of a title insurance company or other real estate services company preferred.
