Sotheby's is seeking a full-time Senior Marketing Coordinator.


This position is responsible for overseeing marketing and advertising operations within the region – assembling/creating ads, identifying appropriate opportunities to promote individual listings or agents locally, ensuring quality and accuracy in local materials, tracking marketing activities and expenses, and ensuring compliance. The Senior Marketing Coordinator must understand and promote the value and applicability of the brand/company marketing options both generally and in response to specific needs.  A personable, team-oriented and professional disposition is required. 


Responsibilities include:


  1. Partner with corporate/regional marketing to enhance existing programs and/or create custom initiatives and solutions for the local market. Act as a liaison, supporting brand and company messages and objectives with local agents/clients, and sharing feedback and needs from these groups with regional marketing.
  2. Maintain familiarity with local market conditions and competitive environment and suggest improvements and new ideas in response to them.
  3. Support Marketing Coordinators in the customization and use of available materials and programs. Maintain familiarity with company and brand intranet content updates and guide agents to appropriate resources.  Coordinate/monitor agent personal marketing support services with vendors – including ad designers, social networking experts, website development, etc.
  4. Introduce and train marketing coordinators and agents in new or underleveraged programs and initiatives (includes company, brand, NRT and Realogy offerings) using the training, information and presentation materials provided by corporate/regional/brand marketing.
  5. Work with manager to manage marketing expenses to budget throughout the year. 
  6. Maintain marketing invoices and produce monthly marketing forecast.
  7. Support MCs in using existing templates, online tools and brand guidelines to produce local ads, brochures, publications, and mailing pieces.
  8. Assemble images and copy for all listing (or sale) marketing opportunities (including local and global print ads, and on-line ads, custom publications, and advertorials) according to style specifications and quality control guidelines. 
  9. Maintain familiarity with company and brand websites and on-line listing distribution programs.
  10. Identify listings and material to fulfill PR opportunities, and provide ideas to fuel additional local and national PR. 
  11. Assemble local market data as appropriate to create custom listing sheets and local market statistics for use in presentations, mailings, and local Web site.
  12. Continuously monitor the marketing process to find efficiencies and to provide better customer service to the agent group as a whole.
  13. Other duties as assigned to aid in the operation of the office.
  14. Help support and facilitate community outreach at the office level.




  1. Four year degree, preferably in marketing or advertising, and/or equivalent years of experience
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  4. An eye for detail/proofing, design, and understanding of branding
  5. Proactive, creative thinker with a focus on problem solving
  6. Must have strong working knowledge of Ms Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  7. Must have experience in print advertising/production and Graphic Design capabilities
  8. Advanced work knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  9. Familiar with real estate programs (MLS, RE databases) preferred
  10. Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
  11. Strong administrative skills including accurate data entry, consistent attention to detail
  12. Customer service orientation – strong training and support skills
