As our Vice President, Learning, you’ll support ERA Franchise Systems in leading the effort to execute against the overall vision and strategy for the ERA Real Estate learning platform. This is a unique and challenging opportunity to leverage your direct background in the real estate industry, including sales, leadership with learning.

 

A bit about The Learning organization…..

It’s comprised of multiple vertical functions including operations, project management, instructional design, technology, marketing and delivery. The VP of Learning will play a vital role providing strategic direction with in each of these functional areas. The Vice President will lead us through transformational change and bring this new platform to market.

 

Some of the cool things you’ll do…..

  • You’ll be The Face of Learning for ERA Real Estate.
  • Lead efforts to execute the overall vision & strategy for ERA Real Estate learning platform.
  • Leverage your knowledge and best practice experience related to the real estate industry, sales, leadership and learning, to drive creative solutions across the organization.
  • You’ll shape the learning strategy, oversee the talent management and supervision of the learning team members, perform sales education needs assessment and provide guidance on content development to meet new learning requirements.
  • Gain an understanding of organizational training requirements and develop strategies for delivering training that includes effectively socialization of the class.
  • Gain insight to client organization, the challenges that client has, and how to relate the training materials to every participant in the classroom.
  • Leverage a variety of instructional techniques or formats, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures to demonstrate a strong ability to manage training sessions to drive optimal outcomes and results.
  • Identify critical learning objectives for sales by providing subject matter expertise.
  • Actively monitor industry trends, maintain an active level of participation in industry events, and identify and leverage other opportunities to stay close to our customers. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive talent development program for all direct report learning team members
  • Assume personal responsibility to see that necessary change is adopted and implemented.

 

Your background includes:

  • Real-estate experience is a MUST (thank you)
  • Bachelors’ Degree Required
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate, sales or training industry
  • Minimum of 3 yrs. experience executing large scale learning initiatives
  • Minimum of 5 years’ management exp., including direct reports and a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in the real estate industry, including the implementation and use of associated industry leading technology and methodologies that enable effectiveness and drive business outcomes in today’s world
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills 
  • Extensive knowledge of sales, coaching and training industry standards
  • Strong organization, change and time management and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial spirit, and positive attitude
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% domestically (minimal international as needed)
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theories preferred
