Director, Strategy (Realogy Franchise Group)


Position Summary

The Director of Strategy will be responsible for working with the Realogy Franchise Group (RFG) Strategy Office leading the development and execution of the highest priority strategic initiatives across the Business Unit.  This role will be responsible for managing all projects tied to RFG’s strategy across Realogy’s portfolio of brands (Century 21, ERA, Coldwell Banker, Better Homes & Gardens, Sotheby’s International Realty and Coldwell Banker Commercial).  He/she will work closely with RFG’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Brand and shared service leaders, leading cross-functional teams on prioritized projects.  The successful candidate will bring experience and passion for a blend of project leadership, strategic development, analytics, project management, process management and reporting.  This position will report to the Vice President of Strategy.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Brand and Business Unit leadership teams on strategic projects to drive revenue growth
  • Establishes business case, project workplan, and cross-functional teams for assigned initiatives
  • Develops methodologies, tools and approaches for analysis and data management
  • Synthesizes own analysis and identifies implications and effective at quickly drawing accurate conclusions
  • Ensures strategic initiatives are executed timely and within budget
  • Supports decisions to expand, contract, pivot, or cancel initiatives during full project lifecycle
  • Supports strategy development, initiative identification and prioritization, and establishment of project KPIs
  • Coordinates handoff to respective business leaders for Business Unit rollout where appropriate



  • 4 - 8 years of business experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of strong academic success with degree(s) in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or foreign equivalent
  • Master’s degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred
  • Management consulting or investment banking preferred
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
  • Experience leading multiple agile projects
  • Proven team leadership, relationship building and project management skills
  • Must be able to operate well under ambiguity and pivot as needed
  • Must be able to work with executive levels
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Superior reasoning skills and sound business judgment to influence decision-making and effectively interface with executive management
