Primary Function:

The Director of Digital Marketing and Content Development is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Cartus brand digital marketing strategy.  This includes the social media strategy and campaign execution through all relevant global channels as well as digital marketing strategy with SEO/SEM strategy & execution.  From a marketing POV, you will be responsible for and other related company websites from design to development of related tools in support of Cartus’ Global Marketing and Sales team.  As well as, ensuring that our performance is tracked through Google Analytics and reports generated by the tools to support company.  This position will help develop innovative strategies to support our company’s initiatives and to provide world class customer experience for our clients and prospects.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-range strategic digital marketing activities relative to increasing market share by driving prospects and retaining clients
  • Oversee and direct the Cartus digital marketing strategy including oversight of SEO & SEM strategy and digital reputation management.
  • Reimagine the social media strategy for Cartus in a B2B environment and develop relevant global campaigns and content to ensure leadership in the industry. Identify opportunities to deliver regional and local content around the world.
  • Develop a digital distribution strategy for the Cartus blog, related content and video to aggressively reach our clients and prospects.
  • Ensure alignment with and mobile applications from a marketing POV.  
  • Provide strategic POV on to ensure optimal delivery of relevant content and develop unique ways to build a repository of content for the marketplace
  • Liaise with the marketing automation team to ensure email marketing campaigns are aligned with all other digital content and digital marketing
  • Examine the landing page and microsites strategies and opportunities
  • Track and analyze all key metrics and KPI for, social media, SEO & SEM success
  • Manage reporting / analytics reviewing trends and providing relevant recommendations to the IT organization
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as necessary


Required skills:

  • Leadership experience within the digital marketing arena & Strong project management skills
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies and marketing/campaign development in social media channels
  • Proven experience with SEO/SEM tools
  • Analytical and metrics-focused
  • Ability to translate needs of the business to IT & Senior leadership


Education / Experience Requirement:

  • 10+ years experience as a digital marketing leader with brand, marketing and long-range planning experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated creative ability to evaluate advertising and promotional programs.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively under stress, meet short deadlines, and take directions. Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across all departments
  • Proven experience in building innovative, proactive, high-impact digital channels; utilizing all relevant channels, and aligning strategies with business goals in order to drive revenue and customer engagement.
